Equipment Manufacturer’s Code (EMC)
For identification, this unit is prepared with an EM Code, which can be applied to future
operators in mobile networks.
DIL:
Abbreviation for Direct In Lines ringing; one of the call distribution mode.
External call is directly sent to the pre-assigned stations.
DL:
ISDNsetting. Abbreviation for Data Link; Data Link Establishment mode for ISDN cercuit.
DTMF(Dual tone multi-frequency):
A signaling method whereby the information is transmitted to the switching center in the
form of tones with various frequencies.
Euro ISDN:
Uniform European ISDN standard introduced at the end of 1993.
IRNA:
Abbreviation for Intercept Routing No Answer;
ISDN:
Abbreviation for Integrated Services Digital Network. Service integrating digital
telecommunications network which integrates telecommunications service such as
telephone, telefax, data and image transmission in a network.
ISDN service:
The ISDN network offers several additional services to make communication more
convenient, e.g. call forwarding.
MSN:
Abbreviation for Multiple Subscriber Numbers; a multiple subscriber number of the ISDN
basic rate access in a multi-device connection.
PIN:
Abbreviation for Personal Identification Number ; prevents the unautholized use of the
unit.
Point-to-multi-point:
An ISDN multi-device connection whereby a number of ISDN terminals can be operated
on an So bus.
Point-to-point:
An example of point to point operation is the primary rate access. In this case, only one
terminal can be operated on the connection. For this reason, it is called a system
connection. In most cases, the system connected is an ISDN PBX.
TEI:
ISDNsetting. Abbreviation for Terminal Endpoint Identifier; assigns a terminal endpoint
for ISDN unit.
SLT:
Abbreviation for Single Line Telephone; a single line telephone can be connected to the
base unit and operate as a station 9.
