PLEASE NOTE!
Please note! This device generates a volume of up to 93.8 dB. For this reason, wear
suitable hearing protection!
Wear a face mask for your own safety.
Wear protective goggles for your own safety.
Wear work gloves when you work with the device!
The device is suitable for use with a large number of coating materials (e. g. wall paints and
wood preservatives). Make sure you note the manufacturer's instructions when purchasing
a coating material as it must be suitable for use with spray-paint guns and the ash point of
the product must be above 21 °C.
Do not use any texture paint! This would clog up the nozzle.
1. Put on work clothing (with long sleeves and long trousers) and place a respiratory mask and
protective goggles on your face.
2. To achieve a good end result, the surface which is to be sprayed with paint should be free
of any kind of unevenness.
3. Ensure that the surface which is to be sprayed with paint is clean and free of any dust and
grease.
4. Carefully cover and stick down any areas which are not to be sprayed (including oor areas!).
Use high-quality cover material and adhesive tape so that there is no possibility of any paint
penetrating through possible holes and points which are not sealed.
5. Stir through the coating material and ensure that it does not contain any lumps or other
particles.
6. Most commercially available coating materials are mixed for application with a brush or
a roller and they need to be thinned down for use with a spray-paint gun. Follow the
manufacturer's instructions on this.
7. You can use the viscosity measuring cup which is also supplied
to check whether the coating material has the right viscosity.
Fill the cup up to the top with the coating material, hold it over
the container with the rest of the coating material and measure
the time it takes until it has run through. Below you will nd the
recommended times for various coating materials:
