Lees deze gebruikershandleiding en de bijsluiters van

de OneTouch Verio® teststrips en de OneTouch Verio®

controlevloeistof zorgvuldig door voordat u dit product

gebruikt om uw bloedglucose te testen.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE:

• Deze meter en de prikpen zijn uitsluitend voor gebruik

bij één patiënt. U mag ze niet met anderen delen, ook

niet met familieleden! Niet bij meerdere patiënten

gebruiken!

• Na gebruik en blootstelling aan bloed moeten alle

onderdelen van deze verpakking worden beschouwd

als biologisch gevaarlijk afval. Gebruikte verpakkingen

kunnen, zelfs na reiniging en desinfectie, besmettelijke

ziektes overdragen.

Beoogd gebruik

Het OneTouch Verio® bloedglucosesysteem is bedoeld

om te worden gebruikt voor de kwantitatieve meting van

glucose (suiker) in verse, capillaire volbloedmonsters uit

de vingertoppen. Het systeem is bedoeld voor gebruik bij

slechts één patiënt en mag niet gebruikt worden voor tests

bij meerdere patiënten. Stalen veneus volbloed mogen

door artsen/diabetesverpleegkundigen gebruikt worden.
