Voordat u begint

Lees voordat u dit product gebruikt om uw bloedglucose

(BG) te testen eerst zorgvuldig deze handleiding en

de bijsluiters die bij de OneTouch® Verio™ teststrips en

OneTouch® Verio™ controlevloeistof worden geleverd.

Beoogd gebruik

Het OneTouch® Verio™ Pro bloedglucosesysteem is

bedoeld om te worden gebruikt voor de kwantitatieve

meting van glucose (suiker) in vers capillair volbloed dat

is afgenomen uit de vingertoppen, onderarm of handpalm.

De stalen van veneus volbloed kunnen door artsen/

diabetesverpleegkundigen worden gebruikt. Het OneTouch®

Verio™ Pro systeem is bedoeld om buiten het lichaam voor

zelftests te worden gebruikt (voor in-vitrodiagnostiek)

door mensen met diabetes in hun eigen omgeving en

om in een klinische omgeving te worden gebruikt door

artsen/diabetesverpleegkundigen als hulpmiddel bij het

controleren of de diabetes effectief onder controle wordt

gehouden. Het mag niet worden gebruikt voor de diagnose

van diabetes of voor het testen van pasgeborenen, en het is

speciaal geïndiceerd voor gebruik op de vinger, onderarm

of handpalm. Het systeem is bedoeld voor gebruik bij één

persoon.
