7. Accessories and Options
7.1 Ribbon Cartridge / Paper Rolls
Use only high-quality accessories which may be purchased from your dealer or reliable
office equipment store.
7.2 IF – Optional Interface
The Cash Register is equipped with one RS 232 serial port for connecting a PC.
7.3 PC-Olympia
PC-Olympia allows you to program your register via a PC.
8. Maintenance
Do not disassemble your Cash Register for cleaning purposes. For cleaning use a dry or
slightly damp soft cloth. Never use water or volatile chemicals such as thinner, gasoline or
alcohol.
Do not drop any metal objects such as paper clips into the Cash Register or printer as this
may lead to shorts, damages or electrical shocks.
9. Information on the Electromagnetic Compatibility and Safety
Your Cash Register fulfills the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility and safety in
accordance with EU regulations:
- 73/23/EWG, EN 60950 (DIN VDE 0805)
- 89/336/EWG, EN 55022 CLASS B, EN 50082-1
Power Cord replacement
The power cord should only be replaced by a certified technician.
