6 Once the rice is ready, the rice cooker automatically switches to the keep warm mode. The keep
warm indicator light WARM turns on.
Note: The rice can be kept warm for several hours.
7 Open the rice cooker and remove the desired amount of rice using the rice spoon.
Note: The rice cooker can remain in the keep warm mode.
8 When nished, unplug the power cord and clean the unit. Please follow the chapter Cleaning and
care.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Warning! Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse
electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under
running water.
• Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp
objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning
mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
9 Clean the product’s exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
Make sure that no water enters the interior of the device (for example, through the switch).
Clean the rice pot, glass lid and rice spoon with a soft cloth in warm rinse water. Remove stubborn
stains with a mild detergent. Then dry. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, hard metal brushes,
scouring pads or sharp objects.
Alternative the measuring cup, rice spoon and glass lid can be washed in the dishwasher.
