2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The extractor hood is suitable for extraction and circulation operation!
Discharge of the air via an exhaust ue through the house roof or sideways through a house wall into
the open air.
Before starting the assembly, remove the grease lter 1.
Ensure the safety distance between the hob and the hood, 165 cm - 75 cm)
Drill 2x holes (2.5 cm below the upper edge of the ue) for mounting brackets, insert the wall plugs
and screw the mounting brackets to the wall.
With the aid of the drilling template, drill 2x 8 mm holes in the wall and insert the wall plugs.
Screw the screws so far into the wall plugs until only approx. 1Omm protrude out of the wall.
(The wall plugs supplied are intended for solid masonry. Contact an expert for the choice of the
correct wall plugs for different or unclear masonry conditions.)
Fit the exhaust air vent.
First hang the hood on the screws tted in the previous step. Then t the exhaust air vent at its desig-
nated location on the hood and screw it tight.
Fit the exhaust hose to the exhaust air vent.
Make the end laying of the exhaust hose (see Ill. 8 and 9).
Place and secure the base ue together with the telescopic ue 9 on the hood.
Pull out the telescopic ue up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket 7.
Connect the appliance cable to the mains supply.

The installation, the electrical connections and the connection to the extraction ducts must be
carried out in compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the local regulations by a
qualied expert.
