Assembly
M1 Remove transport profile underneath the sill.
M2 Mount handle on the active leaf [1.20a].
M3 Lay tools out in the garage depending on accessibility and
type of rebate.
M4 Place door behind or into the installation opening accord-
ing to the intended opening direction and secure it so that
it cannot fall over [1.20b].
M5 If the screw-in anchors included in the delivery are used,
screw them into the wide groove on the outside of the
frame profile according to the installation direction.
Number and position according to [1.25a].
M6 Align the vertical frame bars vertically and the frame
crossbar horizontally, and measure the diagonals as a
check [1.25b].
M7 Fastening
M7a If screw-in anchors (AS) are used:
Bend screw-in anchors at the provided kink points up
to the wall surface, drill dowel holes and fasten an-
chors with the aid of suitable dowels [1.30a].
M7b In case of direct assembly with frame plug dowels
(AS):
Open door leaf, secure it so that it cannot be moved
accidentally, first drill through the frame with metal
drill Ø10 in the frame on the score line, then drill dow-
el holes in the masonry with stone drill Ø10, number
and position according to [1.30b].
Clean drill holes, insert/drive dowel plug through the
frame into the drill hole, insert pressure-proof filling
material under the frame at the fastening points to-
wards the wall, apply assembly torque with the aid of
a screwdriver, alternatively a cordless screwdriver
with screwdriver bit PZ 3, attach caps [1.30b].
M8 Fasten sill in the groove, number and position according to
[1.30b], use screws min. Ø 3.5 mm plus appropriate dowel
plug according to floor properties.
Ensure that the sill does not sag or bulge upwards if the
floor is uneven, insert pressure-proof filling material at the
fastening points if necessary.
Insert threshold seal (AS), cut it off at a suitable length,
making sure not to stretch it.
M9 Gap dimension/hinge adjustment:
The hinges can be adjusted in three directions:
M9a Height adjustment +3/-2 mm by turning the adjust-
ment spindle in the frame hinge part with an Allen key
SW 6 [1.35a].
The zero position of height adjustment is reached
when the lower edge of the collar of the eccentric
bush is level with the upper edge of the frame hinge
part.
M9b Side adjustment ± 2.5 mm by turning the stud in the
leaf hinge part with an Allen key SW 4 with a spheri-
cal head [1.35b].
M9c Compression adjustment ± 0.5 mm (usually not nec-
essary) by turning the eccentric bush in the frame
hinge part by 9 clockwise/counter-clockwise, only
possible when door leaf is unhinged.
Adjust the vertical and horizontal gap dimensions between
leaves and frame evenly to 6 ± 1 mm, the horizontal gap
between leaves and upper-edge finished floor to
11 ± 1 mm and the vertical centre gap to 6 + 1 mm by ad-
justing the hinges [1.35c].
M10 Final assembly of the hinges
After adjusting the tension bolt (AS), insert it into the
groove of the leaf section cover (AS), clip on leaf section
cover, clip plastic covers (AS) onto the top and bottom of
the hinges, with the door leaves open,
screw cylinder screw M4x14 (AS) with the aid of Allen
key SW 3 in to the back of the leaf section, thus securing
the tension bolt [1.40a+b].
M11 Insert logo clip into the two holes of the right leaf as seen
from the outside at the bottom on the right.
M12 Seal wall connections and sill connection with a perma-
nently elastic material.
M13 Install locking device(s) as described in the separate instal-
lation instructions.
Test instruction
All parts must be assembled as described in the installation
instructions to assure the functional reliability, durability and
smooth operation of the hinged door. If the door still does not
function properly, please check the following points:
P1 Is the frame installed at right angles and vertically (meas-
ure diagonals) and securely fastened?
P2 Are the gap dimensions observed or correctly adjusted?
[1.35c]. Align the door leaves and correct the gap dimen-
sions using the hinge adjustment function as described in
M9.
P3 Do the latch, deadbolts bolt and flush bolts engage correct-
ly in their strike plates?
Rework the recess in the strike plate of the latch opening
or grease the latch, if necessary.
P4 Handle set function: Handle must be kept a horizontal
position by the holding spring when it is not being operat-
ed.
P5 Are locking devices for the open end position of the leaves
installed and functional?
Disassembly instructions
- Disassembly by qualified installers only -
Please read these instructions carefully prior to disassem-
bly!
The following tools are required for disassembly:
Allen key SW 3 and SW 6, Phillips screwdriver PH 2 and PZ 3,
hammer and metal saw, if necessary, ...
Disassembly:
Disassembly is basically carried out in the reverse order of the
assembly steps.
D1 Disassemble locking devices.
D2 Door leaf disassembly
D2a If there is sufficient assembly clearance ( 35 mm )
from the header of the installation opening over the
upper edges of the leaves, the leaves can be un-
hinged from the frame by lifting them when they are
open.
D2b In case of assembly clearance < 35 mm, first remove
all leaf section covers in the reverse order of assem-
bly step M10 with the leaves open. Remove the cylin-
der screw from the leaf hinge section with Allen key
SW 3, push the tension bolt out of its guide from be-
hind with the wrench key, remove the leaf section
cover and put small parts aside.
Then insert wedges under the leaves while they are
open and secure them so that they cannot fall over,
loosen and remove the screws of the leaf sections
with wrench key SW 6, twist the detached hinge leaf
