I cannot get my nextbase 300w dash cam to connect, I have followed all the instructions but whet I posted the password 12345678 it came up as incorrect password , what am I doing wrong ? It’s all very confusing and the instructions are not very good! My phone is an iphone

Hi I have installed the 300W and formatted tge card, but during a journey the red protect button came on and an alarm sounded, which ironically could cause an accident itself as it was quite a distraction. What does this light and alarm indicate please?
