5.2 Testing the thermostat
Switch on the power supply of the boiler.
The thermostat automatically completes a start-up and test
program:
- First, the display is empty.
- During 3 seconds all symbols will be shown on the display (also
refer to figure 3-1).
- Subsequently, the version number of the software will be shown
on the display.
- After this, a few tests will be executed. During the first tests,
EE will be shown on the display. If this test is successful, a 1 will
be shown left in the display, changing into a 2.
- After this, the communication with the boiler will be tested.
If this test is succesful, a 1 is shown in the display.
- At the end, the thermostat itself will be tested. If this test is
successful, a 1 is shown in the display.
After the test the day number and the time indication are blinking
in the display.
Set the day number and the time to the correct value (refer to
chapter 4).
5.3 Setting the thermostat
Before you start using the IRT 30 thermostat, a few settings
should be checked and, if necessary, changed:
1. Set the correct kind of temperature control; refer to chapter 6.
2. Check the settings of the hot water supply and change them
when necessary; refer to chapter 7.
3. Change the installation parameters of the thermostat, if
necessary; refer to chapter 8.
