3. Installazione di Smart

Iniziare con l’installazione di Smart Desktop sul computer. Quindi, installare e registrare Smart sul

Pocket PC, attivare e scaricare le mappe desiderate da Smart

 Desktop. È necessario il collegamento

a Internet per completare l’attivazione.

Nota: in Windows XP, verificare che sia installato XP Service Pack 1 o superiore prima di installare Smart

Desktop.

Microsoft ActiveSync

Microsoft ActiveSync serve a stabilire un collegamento fra il Pocket PC e il computer. Smart richiede

ActiveSync 3.7.1 o superiore, che dovrebbe essere incluso con il Pocket PC.

Passo 1. Installare Smart Desktop sul

computer

1. Chiudere tutti i programmi aperti del computer.

2. Inserire il CD di Smart

 nell’unità CD-ROM del computer. Viene avviato il programma di

installazione di Smart

 Desktop.

• Se il computer non avvia automaticamente il CD, avviare l’installazione manualmente:

Start

 Esegui.

Digitare D:\Setup SmartST 2005 for Pocket PC.exe dove “D” è la lettera assegnata

all’unità CD-ROM. Fare clic su OK

3. Seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo per installare Smart

 Desktop.

• Quando richiesto, selezionare la lingua preferita per Smart

 Desktop.

• Quando richiesto, rivedere e accettare l’accordo di licenza per Smart Desktop.

• Quando richiesto, selezionare una cartella di destinazione.

Viene aperto Smart

 Desktop.

Si è pronti a installare e attivare Smart

 sul Pocket PC.
