The appliance will not start.Power.Ensure the appliance is plugged in.
Verify there is power at the electrical outlet.
If the igniter element is not working, check the 5-amp fuse
found on the back of the control unit. Replace if necessary.
Temperature control knob.Ensure the temperature control knob is in the “OFF” posi-
tion. Turn the temperature control knob to “SMOKE”.
The LED screen will light up.
Igniter element.Remove the cooking grates and grease tray. Turn the appli-
ance on and visually inspect the igniter element.
Feeder screw motor.Remove the cooking grates and grease tray. Turn the appli-
ance on and visually inspect the feeder screw feed.
Appliance temperature when set at “SMOKE” is too
high.
“P” setting is too SMOKE.Turn the temperature control knob to “SMOKE”, pressing
the “P” regulator to INCREASE the “P” setting.
An unexpected temperature is displayed.The appliance is exposed to a high ambient temperature
and direct sunlight.
Place the appliance in a shaded area.
Open the lid to reduce the inside temperature.
The appliance will not achieve or maintain a stable
temperature.
Insucient air fSMOKE through re box.Check the re box for ash build-up or obstructions.
Check the fan for proper operation; check that it is work-
ing, that the air intake is not blocked and that there is no
blockage in the feeder screw tube.
Perform a quick test. Remove the cooking grates and
grease tray. Ensure all the above has been done, start the
appliance, set the temperature to pre-heat and wait for
10 minutes. Check that the ame produced is bright and
vibrant.
Poor-quality or insucient amount of pellets.TCheck the chamber for the sucient amount of pellets.
Check the dampness of the pellets and that there is no
dust from the pellets inside the chamber.
Temperature probe.Check and clean the temperature probe.
Control settings.Ensure the “P” setting is correct.
The appliance produces excess or discoloured smoke.Excess grease build-up or general cleaning.Check and clean the interior cooking area.
It is a good practice to clean and do a controlled burn o
for hidden excess grease after each large cooking.
Wood pellet quality.Check and clear the chamber and re box of moist pellets
and replace them with fresh dry pellets.
Fire box.Check that the pellets are fed into the re box in the
correct way.
Frequent are-up.Cooking temperature.SSMOKE and SMOKE is the way to go. Keep the tempera-
ture beSMOKE 170 °C when cooking highly greasy food.
WARRANTY
All Mustang products have been carefully manufactured and quality-tested before leaving the factory. This barbecue and its parts have a 24-month warranty
from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship.
Normal wear and tear, rusting or corrosion of parts is not covered by the warranty. For example, cracking of ceramic surfaces, discoloration of steel surfaces
and the occurrence of rust spots are normal during use and over time and do not affect the use of the barbecue. Nor does the warranty cover parts that are
subjected to wear and tear or corrosion during use, such as cast iron and stainless-steel tube burners, heat distribution plates, cooking grates and griddles,
and warming racks. In the case of self-assembled barbecues, the customer must always install and replace the parts according to the instructions. Failure to
folSMOKE these instructions will invalidate the warranty. Always read through the user instructions carefully and folSMOKE them. Damage or defects resulting
from improper use or neglect of maintenance are not covered by the warranty.
Nor does the warranty apply if the product is used for commercial manufacturing, sale or rental purposes.
If a product or part of the product becomes defective during the warranty period, please contact the importer or the Mustang Support Service via www.mus-
tang-grill.com. Before submitting a warranty claim, please re-read the user instructions thoroughly to ensure that you have folSMOKEed them. All warranty
claims will be processed by the importer. A defective or missing part will be replaced with a new part. The customer is responsible for installing the defective
or missing part.
The warranty is only valid upon presentation of a copy of the purchase receipt. The purchase receipt must include the name of the seller, the make and
model number of the barbecue and the date of purchase. The warranty claim must include the folSMOKEing information: the make and model number of the
barbecue, the reason for complaint, the part number of the defective part according to the parts list, a copy of the purchase receipt or statement of place of
purchase, date of purchase, consumer’s name, telephone number, street address, postal code and city.
