RECORDING ALARM MESSAGES AND
INSTRUCTION MESSAGES
When the other care providers (family, neighbours etc.) are called,
after picking up the telephone, they will hear a warning message
‘Alarm, press 5’. After pressing ‘5’, they will hear an alarm mes-
sage and then an instruction message. In addition, the care
provider can realize a handsfree speaker connection, turn off the
alarm, or transfer the alarm.
Per alarm key an alarm message of a maximum of 40 seconds
is to be recorded, for example: “This is an alarm call from Joseph,
Probleemstreet 1, OurVillage”.
This is the procedure to follow:
• Press PROG and then 1.
• Press the alarm button for which you want to record the
alarm message.
• Press PROG to start recording.
• Press PROG to confirm recording.
The instruction message can not be longer than 30 seconds, for
example: “Press ‘2’ to open a handsfree speaker connection. Press
‘6’ to send this alarm call to others or press ‘5’ to repeat the text”.
This is the procedure to follow:
• Press PROG and then 1 and then *.
• Press PROG to start recording.
• Press PROG to confirm recording.
It is also possible to listen to the recorded texts, without any
adaptations or modifications.
Listening to the alarm message:
• Press PROG, and then 2.
• Press the alarm button for which you want to listen to
the alarm message.
• Press PROG to stop.
Listening to the instruction message:
• Press PROG, then 2 and then *.
• Press PROG to stop.
SETTING THE QUIET ALARM OR
MODIFYING THE TIME OF THE LOUD
ALARM
Per alarm button, you can set the loud or quiet alarm. In
addition, you can set the time for which the loud alarm must
continue. The options are: 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds.
After this time, the mr Safe station will start calling the
care providers.
Setting the quiet alarm, is as follows:
• Press PROG and then 4.
