2. BLENDING (DEPENDING ON MODEL)
- Fit the knife (D) onto the spindle in the bowl
(F),
- Take the milk-shake accessory (G) and fit it
onto the spindle of the knife (D), pour in the
ingredients and lock the lid (C).
- Place the motor unit (B) onto the assembly
by turning it slightly.
- Plug in the appliance and press the start
button (A) while at the same time holding
the appliance by the motor unit.
- At the end of preparation, release the button
(A), unplug the appliance and wait until the
knife comes to a complete stop.
- Remove the motor unit, the lid and the milk-
shake accessory to pour out the preparation.
Warning: Remember to remove the milkshake
accessory to mince and blend.
Cleaning
- Always unplug the appliance first.
- Only use a damp sponge to clean the motor
unit (B). Never place it in water, or under
running water.
- The bowl (E), the knife (D), the lid (C) and
the milk-shake accessory (G) can all be
cleaned in the dishwasher.
What to do if your appliance
does not work
- Check the electrical connection.
If your appliance still does not work, con-
tact an approved Moulinex service centre (see
list in the service booklet).
Recipes
MAYONNAISE
2 egg yolks - 1 tbsp mustard - 2 tbsps water -
1 tbsp vinegar - 200 ml oil - salt, pepper
. Speed 2 (max)
It is important for all the ingredients to be at the
same temperature before starting preparation.
- Put all the ingredients into the bowl and just
2 tbsps oil. Do a pre-mix by giving a few
pulses. Add more oil in 3 phases. Run the
blender for 30 seconds.
BUTTER WITH CHOPPED HERBS
100 g butter and 100 g mix of equal parts of
chives, parsley, chervil, tarragon and cress.
. Speed 2 (max)
- Chop the herbs. Add the soft butter in pieces.
Blend until you obtain a homogeneous mix-
ture.
Variations :
Anchovy paste:
100 g butter, 100 g anchovy
fillets in oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice.
Roquefort or other blue cheese butter:
100 g roquefort and 100 g butter.
. Recipes using the knife and the milk-
shake accessory
WHIPPED CREAM
20 cl liquid cream, 2 sachets vanilla sugar or 2
tbsps icing sugar.
. Speed 1 (min)
- Pour the liquid cream into the bowl and run
the appliance for 30 sec to commence
thickening the cream.
- Add the sugar and run for 15 to 20 sec to
obtain a good consistency. Use pulses
towards the end of preparation for better
control of the result.
MILKSHAKE WITH ICE CREAM
100 g ice cream (flavours: vanilla, strawberry,
pistachio, etc.), 200 ml milk.
- Blend the ice cream by pulsing, then add
the milk and blend again for 20 seconds.
BANANA MILKSHAKE
0.2 l milk, 100 g banana, 4 small ice cubes.
- Blend the ice cubes with the banana, then
add the milk and blend again for 40 seconds.
Variations :
- Use: apples, pears, strawberries, raspber-
ries, etc.
CAFÉ FRAPPÉ
3 tsp instant coffee, 5 tsps caster sugar, 4
small ice cubes, 0.15 l milk.
- Blend the ice cubes by pulsing, then add
the instant coffee, the sugar and the milk.
- Blend again for 30 seconds.
MILKSHAKE WITH FRUIT SYRUP
50 ml strawberry syrup, 150 ml milk, 4 small
ice cubes.
- Blend the ice cubes by pulsing, then add
the milk and the syrup. Blend again for 20
seconds.
Variations:
- Use syrups of mint, grenadine, passionfruit,
etc.
