Tips for using your
appliance
. Model AE9 :
- The electronic speed selector (I) allows
you to start preparations at a speed from 1
to 5 and to increase the speed progressively
from 6 to 10.
Depending on the speed used, you will obtain
different degrees of smoothness in your
preparations. Use speeds :
. 1 to 5 for milk-shakes and sauces,
. 6 to 10 for starting preparations based on
vegetables or fruits such as soups, cocktails,
etc.
- The Pulse control (K) allows you to work in
pulses to control the result of a preparation
to the degree of fineness required. The Pulse
control operates at the speed set with the
selecteur (I). As soon as you release this
control, the appliance will stop.
- The Turbo control (J) allows you to obtain
the maximum power from your appliance,
no matter which speed is selected. You can
use it while the appliance is working, for
crushed ice, for very fine liquidising or to fi-
nish off quickly the preparations underway.
Once you release this control, the appliance
resets itself to the speed set on the selector
(I).
. Model Y45:
- The Pulse control allows you to work by
pulses to control the result of a preparation
until you obtain the desired degree of
fineness.
Cleaning
The Auto Clean control (F) makes it easy to
clean the goblet and the blades, rapidly and in
complete safety.
- Pour warm water into the goblet, adding a
few drops of washing up liquid.
- Give it a few pulses by pressing on the Auto
Clean control.
- Unlock the goblet and rinse it under running
water together with its lid.
- Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth, but
never immerse it in water or place it under
running water.
- If your liquidiser goblet or the lid become
discoloured by foods (such as carrots, etc.),
rub it with a cloth soaked in cooking oil, then
clean it as normal.
