USO DEL MOTOCICLO
Controllo prima della messa in moto
Controllare che:
n nel serbatoio vi sia sufficiente quantità di carburante;
n l’olio nella coppa del basamento sia a giusto livello;
n la chiave sul commutatore di accensione sia in
posizione ON « » (vedere fig. 3);
n il corretto funzionamento dei dispositivi acustici e
visivi;
n le seguenti spie siano illuminate:
rosse: insufficiente pressione olio;
verde: indicatore cambio in folle «NEUTRAL»;
n il comando «CHOKE» a motore freddo sia in
posizione di avviamento («1» di fig. 4);
n l’interruttore «B» di fig. 5 sia in posizione (run).
RIDING YOUR MOTORCYCLE
Preliminary checks
Check:
n that there is sufficient fuel in the tank;
n that the engine oil is on the right level;
n the ignition key is in position ON « » (see fig. 3);
n Proper operation of acoustic and visual devices;
n that the following warning lights are on:
red warning lights: oil pressure;
green warning light: «NEUTRAL» indicator;
n that the «CHOKE» control lever is in the starting
position (if the engine is cold) («1», fig. 4);
n that switch «B» (fig. 5) is in position (run).
Avviamento a motore freddo
Dopo i suddetti controlli, tirare a fondo la leva della frizione
e premere il pulsante avviamento
(C « » di fig. 5).
Avviato il motore, prima di riportare la levetta comando
«CHOKE» in posizione di marcia («2» di fig. 4),
lasciare
girare il motore a vuoto e a basso regime per qualche
secondo nella stagione calda e qualche minuto nella
stagione fredda.
Cold starting
After making the above checks, engage the clutch and
press the button (C «
» in fig. 5).
Once the engine has started, and before putting the
«CHOKE» lever back to its normal running position
(«2» in fig. 4),
allow the engine to idle for a few seconds
in summer or a few minutes in winter.
