FRONT FORK: OIL CHANGE - OVERHAUL VORDERRADGABEL: ÖLWECHSEL - REVISION

• Remove the stanchion “I” from the slider together with

seal ring “E”, cap “F”, upper bushing “G” on the slider

and lower bushing “H” on the stanchion;

N.B.

While removing stanchion “D” from the slider,

parts “E”, “F” and “G” may remain inside the

slider. If so, they must be removed afterwards,

taking care not to damage the rim of the slider

or the seat for upper bushing “G”.

• Check all the parts removed from inside the slider, in

particular seal ring “E” and dust wiper seal “B”, since

they are responsible for ensuring an oil-tight seal ; if

damaged, they must be renewed;

• Check bushing “H” on the stanchion; if damaged or

worn, remove and renew;

• Das Tauchrohr “I” gemeinsam mit dem Dichtring “E”,

dem Federteller “F”, der oberen Buchse am Gleitrohr

“G” und der unteren Buchse “H” am Rohr aus dem

Gleitrohr herausziehen.

HINWEIS

Es kann vorkommen, dass beim Herausziehen

des Rohrs “D” aus dem Gleitrohr die Teile “E”,

“F”, “G” im Gleitrohr bleiben, in diesem Fall

müssen sie extra herausgenommen werden,

dabei besondere Aufmerksamkeit darauf rich-

ten, dass der Rand des Rohrs und dessen Sitz

in der oberen Buchse “G” nicht beschädigt

werden.

• Alle aus dem Gleitrohr entfernten Bestandteile kon-

trollieren, dabei insbesondere den Dichtring “E” und

den Staubstreifer “B”, da diese Elemente für die Ge-

währleistung der Abdichtung zuständig sind. Sollten

sich dabei einige Teile als beschädigt erweisen, müs-

sen sie ausgetauscht werden.

• Kontrollieren, ob die Buche “H” am Tauchrohr und falls

beschädigt oder verschlissen durch eine neue erset-

zen.
