16.2.1 Camera remote control via IE
If a camera with remote control has been
selected as a full-image display while live camera
images are displayed, the field for camera control
(fig. 65) will appear on the right.

“Dome ID”
In the field “ID”, select the data bus address of
the desired camera; select the required control
protocol in the field below it. When the para -
meters are changed here, it will not affect the
menu setting of the recorder.
The sliding control “Dome speed” will
affect the motion speed of the camera.
Note: It will depend on the features of the camera
used which of the settings mentioned above can
actually be remote-controlled.
16.2.2 Disconnecting
When the program window of the IE is closed, the
user will be logged off and disconnected automati-
cally.
17 Shutdown or Restart of the System
To prevent data loss or damage to the recorder, shut
down the system before disconnecting the recorder
from its power supply.
1) Activate the main menu (fig. 66) as described in
chapter 6.1.
2) Activate the submenu Shutdown (fig. 67).
3) To shut down the system, select the line
1.Power Off and confirm with the button
ENTER (6).
When shutting down the system, the message
“System shutting down...” will flash on
the screen. When the message “You can
safely turn off DVR now!” appears, the
process is terminated and the recorder may be
disconnected from the power supply.
4) For simply restarting the recorder [e. g. after se -
lecting the video system with the selector switch
PAL / NTSC (25)], select the line 2.Reboot and
confirm with the button ENTER (6). The system
will be restarted.
