for the keys AUX 1– 4 and FX 1/ 2 (11):
When the key AUX-FX MODE is illuminated, the keys AUX 1– 4
and FX 1/ 2 can be used to select an AUX/FX Send control for the
current channel�
When it is not illuminated, the keys AUX 1– 4 and FX 1/ 2 can be
used to select an Aux way or effect way for additional settings�
13 Key DCA to define the level control groups:
The key will start flashing when pressed for the first time� While
the key keeps flashing, select the desired channels for the DCA
group selected� To complete the group definition, press the key
DCA again; the key will extinguish�
14 Key FX MUTE to mute the two internal effect ways

Press the key repeatedly to go from FX1 to FX2 and
vice versa�
DIGITAL
Settings for the inputs and outputs of the optional
32-channel digital audio interface

Screen view to switch the phantom power supply for
the individual microphone inputs on and off
Caution: Never switch on the phantom power supply when
audio sources with unbalanced outputs are connected; other-
wise, the audio sources may be damaged�
Prior to switching the phantom power supply on or off, always
mute the channel and adjust the outputs for the headphones and
the control room (15) to a low volume� High-volume switching
noise may damage your hearing and the speakers�
23 Keys for signal path assignments of the channel selected
SOLO Will switch the channel to the Solo bus which is used
to separately monitor the signals via the headphone
outputs, the output CTRL ROOM and the level indicator
SOLO METER (3)
MUTE Will mute the channel
PAN
Will place the signal of the channel in the stereo
panorama
The adjustment is made by means of the rotary knob
PARAMETER ADJUST (18)� For stereo inputs or mono
inputs linked as a stereo pair, the key PAN is used to
adjust the balance of the stereo signal�
MAIN Will route the signal to the sum channel MAIN
SUB 1– 4 Will route the signal to the appropriate subgroup
LINK
Will link the mono channel selected and its adjacent
channel as a stereo pair
The settings of the channel selected will be adopted
by the other channel� As long as the two channels are
linked, all settings will apply to both channels (excep-
tions: input gain, phantom power supply)

Motor fader to adjust the signal level of the channel selected (input
channel, Aux way, effect way, subgroup, sum channel MAIN)
When another channel is selected, the motor fader will automati-
cally go to the value of the channel selected� When this parameter
is changed via the screen or the rotary knob PARAMETER ADJUST
(18), the setting of the motor fader will change accordingly�
25 Controls for the signal level of the subgroups SUB 1– 4 (AUX 5 8)
and of the sum channel MAIN
