COMPACT DISCS
Treat compact discs carefully. Handle them only by their edges. Never touch the shiny,
unlabelled side of the disc by your fingers.
Do not put adhesive tape, stickers etc. on either side of a disc.
Clean discs periodically with soft, lint-free and dry cloth. Never use detergents or abrasive
cleaners to clean discs. If it is necessary, use a CD cleaning kit.
If a disc skips or gets stuck during playback, it is probably dirty or damaged.
When cleaning a disc, wipe in straight lines from the centre of the disc to its edge. Never wipe
in circular motions.
When removing a disc from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the
disc out, holding it carefully by its edges.
Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wiped off the discs recorded side with a soft cloth.
Unlike conventional records, compact discs have no grooves to collect dust, so gently wiping
with a piece of soft cloth should remove most particles.
3. USING THE AUX IN FUNCTION
You can enjoy the music of a digital MP3 player, Cassette Deck, Mini Disc player, etc. Insert
an audio cable (Supplied) with 3.5mm plug on each end into the HEADPHONES jack or line

unit.
The auxiliary function will only be support
ed when the AUX in jack has a suitable sound
source connected via an LINE cable.

source ‘On’ and operate it as usual. The sound from the auxiliary
source will be heard through the speakers of this system.
