Zoete broodschotel

Ingrediënten
14 sneetjes witbrood
80 g boter, zacht, ongezouten
8 eidooiers
150 g suiker
1 vanillestokje
300 ml melk
300 ml room
100 g rozijnen
Voor het bestrooien

Bereiding
Vet de ovenschaal in met wat boter.
Snijd de korsten van het brood. Bestrijk
het br
ood met de resterende boter en
snijd het diagonaal doormidden.
Meng de eidooiers en de suiker in een
schaal.
Snijd het vanillestokje in lengterichting
doormidden en ver
warm de beide helf‐
ten met de melk en de room in een pan.
Verwijder het vanillestokje. Voeg de
melk langzaam en al roerend aan het ei-
suiker-mengsel toe.
Verdeel de helft van het brood gelijkma‐
tig ove
r de ovenschaal. Strooi de rozij‐
nen erover en verdeel vervolgens de
rest van het brood.
Verdeel de warme eiermelk gelijkmatig
over de ovenschaal en laat het geheel
20 min
uten trekken. Bestrooi de massa
vervolgens met wat suiker en plaats de
schaal in de voorverwarmde ovenruim‐
te.
