Karamelpudding
Totale bereidingstijd: 160–170 minuten
voor 8 porties
Ingrediënten pudding
1 vanillestokje
600 ml melk
300 ml room
85 g suiker
6 eieren
Ingrediënten karamel
100 g suiker

broodvorm (langwerpig), ca. 30 x 12 cm
universele bakplaat
Bereiding
Snijd het vanillestokje in de lengte door
en haal het merg er met een mes uit.
Breng de melk, de room, de suiker, het
vanillestokje en het merg aan de kook.
Laat het geheel afkoelen en verwijder
het vanillestokje.
Doe 100 g suiker in een kookpot op de
kookplaat op een hoge stand en kara‐
melliseer de suiker (goudgeel). Zorg dat
de karamel niet te donker wordt, omdat
de karamel anders bitter wordt. Doe de
karamel in de broodvorm.
Start het automatische programma of
verwarm de oven voor.
Klop de eieren op. Roer de afgekoelde
melkmassa er al roerend doorheen.
Zeef de massa in de bakvorm.
Plaatse de bakvorm op de universele
bakplaat en zet ze in de voorverwarmde
oven. Doe ca. 1 l (90 cm toestel: ca. 2 l)
warm water in de universele bakplaat
en bereid de pudding in het waterbard
(bain marie). Stort de afgekoelde pud‐
ding en serveer deze met slagroom.
Garneer met bessen of seizoensvruch‐
ten.
