To avoid damage or danger by improper use, these users instructions should be followed and care-fully
kept. If you give the appliance to another person, also supply them with the instruction for use.
Intended use: This appliance is suited for cutting food into slices. Use the appliance for
domestic purpose only - the appliance is not suited for commercial use. The safeguards must
be followed closely to avoid risk of accident. In case of damage and accidents caused by not
following this instruction manual the manufacturer assumes no liability.
Before first use ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate
of the appliance.
Connect this appliance to a plug which is wired according to the regulations
(220 -240V ~AC) only.
Additional protection may be obtained by fitting an earth-leakage circuit-breaker (IF=30mA)
into your home installation. Please consult a qualified electrician.
This appliance is not intented to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
Ensure that the cable never comes into contact with sharp edges and hot objects.
Run the cable in a way that nobody can stumble over it or pull on it. Do not wind the cord
around the appliance and do not bend it to avoid damage.
Caution! Risk of injury! The blade is extremely sharp! Always handle with care!
Do not operate any appliance if
- the power cord is damaged
- in case of malfunction or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Special tools are required to repair the appliance. In any case ask a (*)competent qualified
electrician to check and repair it.
From time to time check if the cord is damaged. In this case or if the appliance is damaged
it must not be used any more.
Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician(*)
to avoid any danger caused by electric current.
(*)Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person
who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger.
