0 = appliance off
1 = minimum warmth
2 = medium warmth
3 = maximum warmth
Warning: Do not sleep with the controller set to level 3. Use 3 setting only to pre-heat the bed, after
pre-heating reduce the heat setting to 2 or 1. Set to 0 = OFF when heat is no longer required.
Warning: Remember to switch the blanket off at the end of use, do not leave it switched on indefinitely.
Warning: It is recommended that this blanket is used with a residual current safety device (safety
switch) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
Qualified persons using original replacement parts may only undertake repairs to the electric
warming pad. Repairs carried out by unqualified persons may cause substantial risk to the user.

x Unplug the appliance from the outlet after each use and before each cleaning.
x Never submerge the control unit in any liquid. Keep away from all solvents and harsh
detergents.
x Caution! Never dry clean, wring-out, tumble-dry, mangle or iron the warming pad!
x Caution! Never switch the appliance on when it is wet in order to dry it!
x The cable with the control unit is removable. Before cleaning always remove the plug in coupling
directly at the appliance (see figure).
x Small stains can be removed by using a damp cloth or sponge with mild
detergent if necessary. Avoid cleaning agents containing sharp solvents.
x The warming pad can be hand washed with mild detergents at 40°. Never
wring the warming pad. Never hang it with cloth-pegs. Never dry clean!
Never tumble-dry!
x Replace the plug and use the warming pad again only when the plug in
coupling and the whole warming pad are completely dry.
x Caution! Washing the warming pad very often will shorten its lifespan.
x Remove lint by using a lint roller.
Protecting covers: For protection it is recommended to cover the warming pad with a white cotton
cover (80 x 150 cm, not included). Fitting covers and covers that are impervious against moisture (80 x
150 cm, for incontinent persons) are available in the specialised trade.
Storing: When not in use for longer period it is recommended to place the (dry) warming pad
protected by its original packaging in a safe, cool and dry place.
When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Do not crease the appliance by
placing items on top of it during storage.

The guarantee period for this appliance is 24 months. The guarantee starts from the date of purchase
(cash receipt). In case of malfunction you may send the appliance to your dealer, add information
about the malfunction and the original purchase receipt (which is obligatory for a repair free of charge)
Within the guarantee period we repair defects of the appliance, which are based on material or
manufacturing faults, in our choice by repair or exchange. These obligations do not extend the period
of guarantee. No claim on a new period of guarantee results from it.
An exact description of the complaint reduces the processing time.
We apologise for any inconvenience, that any claims of good-will are excluded:
after expiry of the lifetime due to the construction and especially for batteries, accumulators,
electric lamps...
for consumption accessories and wear parts such as driving belts, motor coals, tooth brushes,
grinding attachments, dough hooks, beaters, mixer attachments, round cutters etc.
in case of breakage, as e.g. glass, porcelain or plastic
in case of damages in transport, misuse, as well as in case of lack of care, cleaning and
maintenance and in case of non observance of operation or mounting instructions
in case of chemical and/or electrochemical effects
in case of operation with wrong type of the current voltage and in case of connecting to
unsuitable power sources
in case of abnormal environmental conditions and in case of strange operation conditions
as well as if repairs or illegal abortions are made by persons, who are not authorised by us or
if our appliances are equipped with spare parts, supplementary parts or accessories, which are
not original parts or if contact with unsuitable material have caused the damage
