To assemble table proceed as follows:
Remove rip fence carrier extrusion (86) from table (83). Place the four carriage bolts M8x30 (100) into te T-slot of
the table, place onto upper table trunnion (85) and secure with washers A 8.4 (108), spring washers B 8 (111) hex.
nuts M8 (114).
Attach rip fence carrier extrusion (86) to table and tighten nuts.
Press table insert (pos. 24 or 79) into table and align slot parallel with saw blade.
Insert bolt guide (90) with carriage bolt M8x50 (101) into the rip fence carrier extrusion's T-slot.
Place rip fence carrier (88) onto carriage bolt (101) and tighten with washer A 8.4 (108) and lock lever M8 (39).
Bolt rip fence extrusion (87) to rip fence carrier (88) with 2 each carriage bolt M6x35 (102), washer A 6.4 (110) and
knurled nut M6 (99).
Attach crank handle (70) to crank (20), using cap screw M6x55 (105) and two hex. flat nuts M6 (115).
After assembly the table has to be aligned in order to have the blade running througt the centre of the table insert's
slot.
To move table sideways, loosen bolts on the lower table trunnion (91). Move table trunnion to left or right, until blade
runs through center of slot. Tighten bolts, be careful that table stays in position while bolts are being tightened.
To set the table square to the blade, the cap nut on the stop on the underside of the table has to be turned in or
out, as required.
After the table is correctly aligned affix the scale (89) to the rip fence carrier extrusion (86).
To ensure sufficient upright stability machine must be secured to floor. For this purpose the machine's base
provides four 13 mm (1/2") holes, to accept M12 or 1/2" bolts. Drill holes in floor according to pattern shown on
page 4.
5.2 Connection to Power Mains
Check motor type plate to be sure that rated voltage matches of your outlet.
This machine must be earthed while in use to protect operator from electric shock.
1-phase machines are supplied either with a switch integrated plug or a switch with a 3-conductor cord.
The yellow-green conductor of the cord is the earth lead.
All 3-phase machines are fitted with switches having an integrated 5-pin plug. Machines without motor brake require
a 4-conductor power cord (3-phases and earth), for machines with motor brake a 5-conductor cord (3-phases,
neutral and earth) is required. Install a 5-pin CEE receptacle on one end of the power cord and a plug of your local
standard to the other end.
Never connect earth lead to a live terminal!
This machine must be connected to an earthed outlet protected by a 16 amp time lag fuse.
Use of an extension cord with too small a conductor cross section causes voltage drop, and conserquently starting
problems and heat build-up in the motor. A minimum conductor cross section of 1.5 mm/16 AWG (2.5 mm/13 AWG
for 115 V motors) is required.
Caution! Disconnect machine from power when servicing or changing blades.
Saw blade must rotate in a clockwise direction to prevent accidents. For 3-phase machines, start saw briefly with
all guards in place, and check direction of rotation. If incorrect, interchange two of the current conducting leads to
reverse rotation. DO NOT interchange the earth and/or neutral lead with any of the current conducting leads.
On machines equipped with electronic motor brake a light humming sound, emitted from the switch while the
machine is connected to power mains, is normal and does not represent a fault.
