warranty. During theperiod of 18 months

from original delivery of thevehicleorthe

accumulation of 18,000miles(approximately

29,000km) on theodometer of thevehicle,

whichever occursfirst,areasonable number

of repair attempts is presumedfor aretail

buyer or lessee if oneormoreofthe following

occurs:

(1) thesamesubstantial defectormalfunc-

tion resultsinacondition that is likely to

causedeathorserious bodilyinjury if the

vehicleisdriven,thatdefectormalfunc-

tion has been subjecttorepair two or

moretimes,and you have directly noti-

fiedMercedes-Benz USA, LLCinwriting

of theneedfor itsrepair,

(2) thesamesubstantial defectormalfunc-

tion of aless serious nature than cate-

gory(1) has been subjecttorepair four or

moretimes and you have directly notified

us in writing of theneedfor itsrepair, or

(3) thevehicleisout of servicebyreason of

repair of thesameordifferent substantial

defects or malfunctionsfor acumulative

total of morethan30calendar days.
