Positioning the appliance

• Alwaysplacetheapplianceatasafedistancefrom
ammableobjectssuchascurtains,tableclothsor
similar.
• Theremustbeaclearanceofatleast10cmfromthe
sidesoftheappliance(includingtherear)and30cm
abovetoensuresufcientventilation.Theapplianceis
notsuitableforbuilt-intting.
Use
• Youcanonlyusetheright(small)cookingplateatthe
sametimeastheoven.Theleft(large)cookingplate
cannot be used at the same time as the oven.
• Theappliancewillbecomeveryhotduringuse.Never
movewhilehot.Whentheapplianceishot,onlytouch
the oven door handle and controls and be very careful
whenhandlinghotdishes,ovenaccessoriesorfoods
– use oven gloves or the handle supplied!
• Takecarewhenhandlinghotfoodandliquidstoavoid
burns and scalding.
• Donotheatfoodinclosedcontainersintheappliance,
astheheatcancausethemtoexplode.
• Checkthattheventholesinthecabinetarenot
covered.Iftheyarecoveredwhiletheapplianceis
inuse,thereisariskofoverheating.Donotusethe
applianceuntilithascooleddown.
• Neverinsertanythingintotheventilationslotsorother
openings.

Cord and plug
• Donotletthecordhangoutovertheedgeofthework
surface.
• Checkthatitisnotpossibletopullortripoverthe
cordoranyextensioncord.
• Keepthecordandapplianceawayfromheatsources,
hotobjectsandnakedames,includinggasringsand
electric cooking plates.
• Turnoffandunplugtheapplianceassoonasyouhave
nishedusingit,beforecleaningitoriftheappliance
isnotinuse.Avoidpullingthecordwhenremovingthe
plug from the socket. Instead, hold the plug.
• Ensurethatthecordisfullyextended.
• Donotbendthecord.
• Checkregularlythatneithercordnorplugisdamaged.
Donotuseiftheyaredamagedoriftheappliancehas
beendroppedordamagedinanyotherway.
