USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Fill the measuring cup (1) with water, according to the
numberofeggsandcookingtimerequired.
o Thenumbers1-6onthemeasuringcupindicate
the number of eggs to be cooked.
o UsethetheSoftscaletomakesoft-boiledeggs,
Mediumformedium-boiledeggsandHardfor
hard-boiledeggs.
2. Pour the appropriate amount of water into the
hotplate (7).
3. Toavoidtheeggscrackingduringcooking,piercea
small hole in the rounded end of each egg, using the
eggpiercingtool(4)onthetray(3).
4. Place the eggs in the tray and then place the tray on
the hotplate.
5. Put the lid (2) on.
6. Pluginandswitchonthepower.Theindicatorlamp
(5) lights up and the appliance begins to cook the
eggs.
7. When all the water has evaporated, the eggs are
ready.Thethermostatinsidetheapplianceswitches
offtheappliance.Youwillhearabuzz.
8. Remove the plug from the mains socket. Carefully
remove the lid.
o Theapplianceisstillveryhot.Removethetray
from the hotplate and cool the eggs immediately.
If not, they will continue to cook.
NOTE!Takecarewhenusingtheeggpiercingtooland
the tray – the egg piercing tool is very sharp.
CLEANING
When cleaning the appliance, you should pay attention to
the following points:
• Removeplugfromthemainssocket,andallowthe
appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
• Neversubmergethebaseoftheappliance,cordor
plug in water. Never allow water to seep into the base.
• Tocleanthehotplateandbase,wipewithadamp
cloth.Alittledetergentcanbeaddediftheappliance
is heavily soiled.
• Toremovelimedepositsfromthehotplate,use
ordinary household vinegar and water (1 part vinegar
to 10 parts water). Pour the solution onto the hotplate
andleavetostandforapproximately30minutes.
Thenpourawaythesolution.Thenwipethehotplate
with a damp cloth.
• Donotusescouringpads,steelwooloranyformof
strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the appliance, as they may damage the outside
surfaces of the appliance.
• IMPORTANT!Allowtheappliancetodryfullyafter
cleaning before using again.
• Ensuretheapplianceiscleananddrybeforestoring.
