• Keeptheapplianceunderconstantsupervisionwhile

inuse.Keepaneyeonchildreninthevicinityofthe

appliancewhenitisbeingused.Theapplianceisnot

a toy.

• Theapplianceisnottobeusedbypersonswith

reduced sensitivity, physical or mental disabilities or

persons who are unable to use the appliance unless

supervised or instructed by a person responsible for

their safety.

Use

• Donotswitchtheapplianceonunlessthereiswater

in it.

• Donottouchtheoutsideoftheapplianceduring

orjustafteruseasitwillbeveryhot.Notethathot

steamescapesfromtheholeinthelid.Alwayshold

the lid by the handle. Be careful of hot steam when

opening the lid.

• Pleasenotethattheappliancewillremainhotfora

whileafteryouswitchitoff.Alwaysallowittocool

completely before you put it away or clean it.

• Theeggpiercingtoolisverysharp.Takecarewhen

piercing eggs and when using the tray.

Cord and plug

• Donotletthecordhangoutovertheedgeofthe

work surface.

• Keepthecordawayfromheatsources,hotobjects,

naked flames and the hot parts of the appliance.

• Removetheplugfromthesocketbeforeremovingthe

lid from the appliance, before cleaning, or when the

applianceisnotinuse.Avoidpullingthecordwhen

removing the plug from the socket. Instead, hold the

plug.

• Checkregularlythatneithercordnorplugisdamaged

and do not use if they are, or if the appliance has

been dropped or damaged in any other way.

• Iftheappliance,cordorplughasbeendamaged,

have the appliance inspected and if necessary

repaired by an authorised repairer. Never try to repair

the appliance yourself. Please contact the store

where you bought the appliance for repairs under the

guarantee.Unauthorisedrepairsormodificationsto

the appliance will invalidate the guarantee.
