PLEASE NOTE:
Connect the DVD player directly to a TV (not to a VCR).
Be sure to turn off the power to all components in the system before connecting another component.
If necessary, refer to the user's manual of the TV, stereo system or other components connected.
Be sure that the colours of the jacks and plugs match up when using video/audio cables.
Be sure to keep the player connection cables separate from the TV antenna cable when you install the player, because it may
cause electrical interference when you are watching television programs.
Do not place TV on top of this DVD player, unless it is the compatible Medion TV set "MD 3723" or "MD 3721".
Connecting to a TV using a SCART cable
The easiest connection between the TV and DVD, which at the same time provides an very good picture, is the SCART cable (included).
Connecting to a TV using a S-VIDEO OUT and AUDIO cable
Alternatively, you may use a S-VIDEO OUT cable together with an AUDIO cable to output the sound.
In order to output the sound on a stereo system, connect the DVD as shown here:
