STARTING POSITION
WARNING: When starting engine,
hold the unit as illustrated. Do not set unit on
any surface except a clean, hard area when
starting engine or while engine is running. De-
bris such as gravel, sand, dust, grass, etc.
could be picked up by the air intake and
thrown out through the discharge opening,
damagingthe unit or property,or causingseri-
ous injury to bystanders or the operator.
STARTING A COLD ENGINE (or a
war m en gi ne aft er running o ut of fuel)
1. Move the throttle position lever to the idle
position.

2. Slowly press the primer bulb 6 times.

4. Pull starter rope han dle sharply 5 times (no
more than 3 times above 32° C/90° F). If en-
gine starts and runs prior to 5 pulls, allow en-
gine to run for 5 seconds; then, fully squeeze
the throttle trigger to disengage the starting
system (start lever returns to RUN position).
Steps 5 and 6 are not necessary.
5. Fully squeeze the throttle trigger to disen-
gage the starting system (start lever returns
to RUN position).
6. Pull starter rope handle sharply while
squeezing throttle trigger until engine starts
and runs.
STARTING A WARM ENGINE
1. Squeeze and hold the throttle trigger .
2. Pull starter rope handle sharply while
squeezing throttle trigger until engine starts
and runs.
NOTE: Normally, the warm starting proce-
dure can be used within 5--10 minutes after
the unit is turned off. If the unit sits for more
than 10 minutes without being used, it will be
necessary to start the unit by following the
steps under ST AR TING A COLD ENGINE or
following the starting instruction steps shown
on the unit.
STARTING A FLOODED ENGINE
Flooded engines can be started by moving the
start lever to the RUN position and fully
squeezing the throttle trigger. Pull the starter
handle repeatedly while squeezing throttle
trigger until engine starts and runs. This could
require pulling the starter handle many times,
depending on how badly the unit is flooded. If
the unit still doesn’t start, refer to the TROU-
BLESHOOTING TABLE.

W AARSCHUWING: Tijdens het
vacuümen van afval moet het apparaat
zodanig worden vastgehouden zodat de
geluiddemper weg van uw lichaam en kleding
wijst (zie de BEDIENINGSPOSITIE).
1. Plaat de schouderdraagriem voor de
vacuümzak over uw linkerschouder.
2. Pak met uw rechterarm het achteriende
van de vacuümzak vast.
3. Stel de schouderdraagriem dusdanig af,
dat de naad van de schouderdraagriem en
vacuümzak precies tussen uw duim en
wijsvnger ligt.
4. V ergewis u ervan dat de scouderdraagriem
zo is afgesteld dat lucht onbelemmerd uit het
elleboogbuis kanstrom en. Als er een kni kn
de zak zit, werkt het apparaat niet goed.

TIPS VOOR HET GEBRUIK
W AARSCHUWING: Tijdens het
vacuümen of wegblazen van afval moet het
apparaat zodanig worden vastgehouden
zodat de geluiddemper weg van uw lichaam
en kleding wijst (zie de
BEDIENINGSPOSITIE).
D Om het met geluidsniveau(s) in verband
staande risico van gehoorverlies te
verlagen, moet oorbescherming worden
gedragen.
D Om het met aanraking van draaiende
onderdelen in verband staande risico van
verwonding te verlagen, moet de motor
worden gestopt voordat hulpstukken
worden bevestigd of verwijderd. Niet
gebruiken zonder de beschermkap(pen)
te hebben geïnstalleerd.
D Gebruik krachtapparaten uitsluitend op
normale tijden -- niet vroeg in de morgen of
laat in de avond, als uanderen zou kunnen
storen. Kom de tijden na die in de
plaatselijke voorschriften vermeld staan.
Normaal wordt vanaf 9.00 u. ’s morgens
tot 5.00 u. ’s avonds aanbevolen, van
maandag t/m zaterdag.
D Om het geluidsniveau te beperken moet
het aantal tegelijk gebruikte apparaten
worden beperkt.
D Om het geluidsniveau te verlagen moeten
krachtblowers op de laagst mogelijke
regelklepsnelheid worden gezet om het
werk te doen.
D Gebruik een hark en bezem om afval los te
werken alvorens te blazen.
D In een stoffi ge omgeving moeten de
oppervlakken enigszins nat worden
gemaakt of een vernevelingshulpstuk
worden gebruikt als er water voorhanden is.
D Bespaar water door in plaats van slangen
krachtblowers te gebruiken voor veel
toepassingen in de tuin, inclusief in
gebieden zoals goten, schermen, patio’s,
grills, veranda’s en perkjes.
D Kijk uit voor kinderen, dieren, open ramen
of net gewassen auto’s. Blaas vuil op
veilige manier weg.
D Gebruik het volledige verlengstuk voor het
mondstuk van de blower, zodat de
luchtstroom dicht bij de grond kan werken.
D SCHOONMAKENna gebruik van blowers
en andere apparaten! Gooi afval in de
vuilnisbak.

W AARSCHUWING: Alvorens u
begint, dient u de informatie met betrekking
tot brandstof in de veiligheidsvoorschriften te
lezen. Indien u de veiligheidsvoorschriften
niet begrijpt, dient u uw apparaat niet te
voorzien van brandstof. Neemcontact op met
een erkende servicedealer.
