Deze motor is gecertificeerd voor het gebruik
van loodvrije benzine. V oo rdat u bijvult, moet
de benzine gemengd worden met een goede
kwaliteit 2--cicli luchtgedroogde motorolie die
gefabriceerd is om gemengd te worden met
een verhouding van 40:1. Een verhouding
van 40:1 kan worden verkregen door 5 liter
loodvrije benzine te mengen met 0,125 liter
olie. GEBRUIK GEEN olie voor
motorvoertuigen of vaartuigen. Deze olie
beschadigt de motor. V olg bij het mengen de
instructies die vermeld zijn op de container
van de olie. Nadat de olie is toegevoegd aan
de benzine moet u de container even goed
schudden om er zeker van te zijn dat de
brandstof goed gemengd is. Lees voor het
vullen van uw machine met brandstof altijd de
veiligheidsvoorschriften en volg deze op.
VOORZICHTIG: Gebruik nooit zuivere
benzine in uw apparaat. Dit leidt tot
onherstelbare schade aan de motor .
BRANDSTOFVEREISTEN
Gebruik ongelode benzine van een goede
kwaliteit. Het minimaal aanbevolen
octaangehalte is 90 (RON).
BELANGRIJK
Het gebruik van brandstoffen gemengd met
alcohol (meer dan 10% alcohol) kan leiden tot
grote problemen met de motorprestaties en
de levensduur van uw machine.
W AARSCHUWING: Onjuist
gebruik van brandstof en/of smeermiddelen
leidt de problemen zoals: onjuiste
inschakelingen koppeling, oververhitting,
stoo mblokkerin g, ver mogensve r lie s,
onvoldoende smering, aantasting van
brandstofleidingen, pakkingen en interne
componenten van de carburateur , enz.
Brandstoffen gemengd met alcohol
veroorzaken hoge vochtabsorptie in het
brandstof/oliemengsel hetgeen leidt tot
scheiding van de olie en de brandstof.
UW MOTOR STOPPEN
D Laat de gashendel los.
D Druk de STOP schakelaar in de STOP
stand en houd hem ingedrukt tot de motor
afslaat.

OPERATING TIPS
WARNING: While vacuuming or
blowing debris, hold the unit with the muffler
side facing away from your body and clothes
(see OPERATING POSITION).
S To reduce the risk of hearing loss
associated with sound level(s), hearing
protection is required.
S To reduce the risk of injury associated with
contacting rotating parts, stop the engine be-
fore installi ng or removing attachments. Do
not operate without guard(s) in place.
S Operate power equipment only at reasonable
hours--not early in the morning or late at night
when people might be disturbed. Comply with
times listed in local ordinances. Usual recom-
mendations are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Monday though Saturday.
S To reduce noise levels, limit the number of
pieces of equipment used at any one time.
S To reduce noise levels, operate power
blowers at the lowest possible throttle
speed to do the job.
S Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris be-
fore blowing.
S In dusty conditions, slightly dampen sur-
faces or use a mister attachment when wa-
ter is available.
S Conserve water by using power blowers
instead of hoses for many lawn and garden
applications, including areas such as gutters,
screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
S Watchout for children, pets, open windows,
or freshly washed cars. Blow debris away
safely.
S Use the full blower nozzle extension so the
air stream can work close to the ground.
S After using blowers and other equipment,
CLEAN UP! Dispose of debris in trash re-
ceptacles.
BEFORE STARTING ENGINE
WARNING: Be sure to read the fuel
information in the safety rules before you
begin. If you do not understand the safety
rules, do not attempt to fuel your unit. Contact
an authorized service dealer.
FUELING ENGINE
WARNING: Remove fuel cap slowly
when refueling.
This engine is certified to operate on
unleaded petrol. Before operation, petrol
must be mixed with a good quality 2--cycle
air--cooled engine oil designed to be mixed at
a ratio of 40:1. A 40:1 ratio is obtained by
mixing 5 liters of unleaded petrol with 0,125
liter of oil. DO NOT USE automotive oil or
marine oil. These oils will cause engine
damage. When mixing fuel, follow
instructions printed on oil container . Once oil
is added to petrol, shake container
momentarily to assure that the fuel is
thoroughly mixed. Always read and follow the
safety rules relating to fuel before fueling your
unit.
CAUTION: Never use straight petrol in your
unit. This will cause permanent engine
damage.
FUEL REQUIREMENTS
Use good quality unleaded petrol. The lowest
recommended octane grade is 90 (RON).
IMPORTANT
Use of alcohol blended fuels (more than 10%
alcohol) can cause major engine performance
and durability problems.
WARNING: Incorrect use of fuel and/
or lubricants will cause problems such as :
improper c lutc h engagements, ov erheat-
ing, v apor lock , power los s , lubric ation defi-
cienc y, deterioration of fuel lines, gask ets
and internal carburetor components, etc .
Alc ohol blended fuels w ill c aus e a high ab-
sor ption of moistur e in the fuel/oil mix tur e,
caus ing the s eparation of oil and fuel.
HOW TO STOP YOUR ENGINE
S Release the throttle trigger.
S Push and hold the STOP switch in the
STOP position until the engine stops.
BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE
WARNING: YouMUSTmakesurethe
tubes are secure before using the unit.
D Fuel engine. Move at least 3 meters away
from the fueling site.
D Hold the unit in the starting position as
shown. Make sure the blower end is di-
rected away from people, animals, glass,
and solid objects.
