specialized center.
Otherwise you can use the following
approximate values:
FC Max = 220 – age
Upper limit: 85% of FC Max
Lower limit: 70% of FC Max
10.2. Digital pairing
The digital pairing operations MUST be performed to ensure a reliable and ecient
communication between the Wintech computer and all its speed, cadence and
Heart Rate sensors.
If you don’t, the Wintech computer won’t read any data coming from the sensors.
10.2.1 First t the cardio belt to
the body.
To do so, moisten the sensor zones
situated on the back of the belt.
Open the belt at one of its
extremities. Position the belt on
the torso, just under the pectoral
muscles. The Mavic logo should
be positioned at the centre of your
chest.
Then close the belt, making sure the
sensor zones are at against the
skin. If necessary, adjust the
tightness of the elastic strap.
WARNINGS: Persons who have a
pacemaker, debrillator, or other
implanted electronic device use
the heart rate monitor at their
own risk. Before starting the initial use of the heart rate monitor, we recommend an
exercise test under a doctor’s supervision. this will ensure the safety and reliability of
the pacemaker and the heart rate monitor when used simultaneously. Exercise may
include some risk, especially for those who have been sedentary. We strongly advise
consulting your doctor prior to beginning a regular exercise program.
