u oscuridad a las características sonoras
globales del amplicador.
Nota tonal 1: El control EDGE corta las
frecuencias altas entre el divisor de fase
y las válvulas de potencia. Tiene una
función similar al control tradicional
de "presencia". La mayoría de los
controles de "presencia" se basan en la
retroalimentación negativa de la etapa
de salida; pero el Astoria Classic carece
de ella.
Nota tonal 2: Cuanto mayor es el nivel
de volumen MASTER, más pronunciada
será la función EDGE.
8. INDICADOR POWER (ALIMENTACIÓN)
Se encenderá en ámbar cuando la
alimentación esté encendida.
9. STANDBY
Este interruptor se utiliza junto al
interruptor de encendido de red para
“calentar” el amplicador antes de
usarlo y prolongar así la vida de las
válvulas de salida. Asegúrate siempre de
que el interruptor STANDBY esté en la
posición STANDBY antes de encender el
amplicador.
De este modo se permite aplicar la
tensión requerida para calentar las
válvulas hasta su valor de temperatura
correcto. Después de unos dos minutos,
las válvulas llegarán a su temperatura
correcta de funcionamiento y el
interruptor STANDBY se puede activar
poniéndolo en la posición ON.
Con el n de prolongar la vida de las
válvulas, se deberá utilizar el interruptor
STANDBY para apagar y encender el
amplicador en los descansos de las
actuaciones.
10. ON/OFF
Este es el interruptor principal del
amplicador para la red eléctrica.
Cuando se enciende, el indicador de
alimentación se iluminará en ámbar.
