1. Parts supplied:
Control 300 traffic light controls in separate housing with two red and green traffic lights, connecting flange and
cable harness for connection to the Control 110 base control unit.
2. Description of operation:
Entry and exit are separately controlled. After an impulse has been given with the door closed, both red traffic lights
light up until the door has reached its final "open" position. Then the side on which the impulse was given changes
to "green". The traffic light on the other side stays at "red". All further impulses with the door open are stored, so
that the direction of the traffic is controlled via the traffic lights. In the case of heavy traffic from the one direction,
the green phase changes to the other direction if required. After all the stored impulses have been actioned, both red
traffic lights light up, the door closes automatically after the set red time has elapsed. Both red traffic lights go out.
3. Setting the "red time" and the "green time":
The "red time" and the "green time" are set with the rotary switches on the front of the housing.
4. Control sequence:
4.1. An impulse is given by push button, key switch or induction loop etc. The following control sequences are possible:
a) If an impulse is given to terminals 43-44 or 45-46 of the Control 300, with the door closed, the door opens.
b) If an impulse is given to terminals 43-44 or 45-46 with the door open, the "green time" is extended, as the timing
for opening is restarted.
c) If an impulse is given to terminals 43-44 or 45-46 while the door is closing, the door stops for one second, and
then starts to open again.
If the impulse is given in the Control 110 base control unit (e.g. to terminals 14-15), there is also opening and
automatic closing with the red traffic lights on, but without any green phase or change of direction during the
closing process.
4.2 Photocell as safety device:
The photocell is connected to the terminals 41-42 of the Control 300 traffic light controls. If the photocell is
interrupted, this activates the control sequences described under 4.1 b) and c). With the "S" switch on the
board, the following photocell functions can be set:
"S" ON door stops on interruption of photocell
"S" OFF door stops on interruption of photocell and after one second reopens.
4.3. Switching off the automatic closing function (timed return). The automatic closing function can be switched off by
connecting an ON/OFF switch or by attaching a bridge to terminals 47-48 of the Control 300 traffic light controls.
5. Connection:
Connect the Control 300 cable harness to the Control 110 base control unit. The S19 programming switch in the
Control 110 base control unit must be in the OFF position. A fuse for safeguarding the electronic equipment and the
traffic lights is situated on the board of the traffic light controls.
Function of the Control 300 connecting terminals:
L1, N, PE: Mains connection 220 V, 50 Hz
1a,1b,N: Connection of traffic lights-exit
2a,2b,N: Connection of traffic lights-entry
