3. Press OK then Down key to select ON or OFF.
4. Press OK to confirm.
4.2.9 Set the Mailbox Number
You can save a mailbox number into your handset. To dial the mailbox number, just
press and hold the key 1 on the handset.
1. Press OK then Down key until to select HS SETTINGS.
2. Press OK then Down key until to select MAILBOX.
3. Use the dialing keys to enter the mailbox number.
4. Press OK to confirm.
4.3 Base Settings
4.3.1 Set the Flash Time
The flash time settings is country dependent. Please contact your local service provider for
the correct settings.
1. Press OK then Down key until to select BS SETTINGS.
2. Press OK then Down key until to select FLASH TIME.
3. Press OK then Down key until to select SHORT, MEDIUM, or LONG.
4. Press OK to confirm.
4.3.2 Change the System PIN Code
A 4-digit system PIN code is used for changing the system settings of the base station. It is
used to protect your phone against unauthorized use. The default system PIN code is 0000.
1. Press OK then Down key until to select BS SETTINGS.
2. Press OK then Down key until to select CHANGE PIN.
3. Press OK.
4. Enter the old system PIN.
5. Press OK then enter the new system PIN.
6. Press OK then enter the new system PIN again.
7. Press OK to confirm.
Note : If the new PIN entered in Step 6 is not matched with the new system PIN entered in
Step 5, you are requested to enter the valid system PIN again in Step 5.
4.4 Reset Your Phone
You can reset your phone to the default settings. After reset, all your personal settings, call
list entries and redial list entries will be deleted, but your phonebook remains unchanged.
1. Press OK then Down key until to select DEFAULT.
2. Press OK and you are requested to enter the 4-digit system PIN.
