Maintenance

Warning: Before any maintenance and/or cleaning the exterior of the fireplace, disconnect the unit from the power supply

and leave until cooled off.

Remote Handset Battery Replacement: This remote control uses 1 CR2032 Lithium lon button cell battery (Included). Make

sure the batteries are installed correctly in the remote control.

This product does not use a standard bulb for its flame effect. The appliance uses an electronically controlled LED system

to create the effect therefore no parts need to be replaced. There are no user-serviceable parts on this appliance. Under no

circumstances should the appliance be serviced by anyone other than a qualified electrician.

Resetting the Thermal Cutout Switch: The appliance is fitted with an Electronic Safety Control (E.S.). This is a safety device,

which switches off the fire if, for any reason, the appliance overheats, e.g. when covered. If the heater stops operating

whilst the flame effect continues normally, this indicates that the E.S. Control is in operation. The E.S. Control can only be

re-set after the appliance has cooled down, in order to re-set the E.S.

Control proceed as follows:

- Switch off the appliance (Manual On/Off switch) and leave for approximately 10-15 minutes.

- Remove any obstruction to the fan heater outlet or fan blades etc. Make sure that the power supply is

disconnected at the plug socket outlet whilst you do this.

- Switch on appliance and the E.S. Control will re-set.

- Ensure that the appliance is functioning correctly.

Cleaning the fireplace

The area around the fire should be kept free of any materials such as lint or house dust (i.e. animal hair/ carpet fibres) that

could be drawn into the internal workings of the appliance and hence affect the performance. We recommend that you

clean around the fan grille housing at regular intervals. This can be done using standard vacuum cleaner and suitable

attachment. You can clean the outside of the appliance with a suitable cloth. Do not use furniture or metal polish. The

fuelbed can be dusted as required with the appliance off.

Warning: An authorized service representative should perform any other servicing.

Warranty

Your fireplace has two year warranty against manufacturing defect, beginning at the date of purchase. In case of a

problem, contact the store that it sold to you.

Warranty will be honored when you present a dated invoice and is strictly limited to recognized faulty part. Installation

costs cannot, under any circumstance, be reimbursed for damages. The manufacturer can’t be held responsible for direct or

indirect defect consequences, either towards person or property. The warranty will be voided if the fireplace was misused

or used for other purpose than what they were built for. The warranty will also be voided in case of deterioration or

accident that occur following neglect, bad supervision or form altered parts.
