grease in the runners is for lubrication purposes and must
not be removed.*

uClean water reservoir when not in use for more than 24 h.*
After cleaning:
uWipe dry the appliance and items of equipment.
uConnect the appliance and switch it on again.
uSwitch on SuperFrost (see 5.5.5 SuperFrost) .
When the temperature is sufficiently cold:
uPut the food back inside.
6.5 Cleaning the IceMaker*
The IceMaker drawer must be emptied and pushed in. The
IceMaker must be switched on.
uPress Menu.
uPress the navigation arrows until the IceMaker is
displayed.
uPress the IceMaker symbol.
uPress the navigation arrow until the cleaning posi-
tion is displayed.
uPress ON.
wThe ice cube tray moves to the cleaning position.
The screen cannot be used during this process.
wOFF appears: The rotary movement stops and the
IceMaker switches off for cleaning.
uRemove the drawer.
uClean the ice cube tray and drawer with a soft cleaning cloth
and warm water. If necessary use a mild detergent. Then
rinse out.
uPush the drawer in.
uPress OFF.
wThe ice cube tray moves to the operating position.
NOTICE
Rinse agent residue in the ice compartment and drawer.
Nausea or irritation of the mucous membrane.
uRemove rinse agent residue: Discard the first three batches
of ice cubes.
uLeave the IceMaker switched on.

uSwitch the IceMaker off (see 5 Control)
6.6 Customer service
First of all check whether you can eliminate the fault yourself.
(see 7 Malfunctions) If you can't, contact Customer Services.

functions on the screen:
uPress menu.
uPress the navigation arrows until the appliance infor-
mation symbol is displayed.
uPress the appliance information symbol.
wThe appliance information is displayed.
uNote down the appliance
information.
uTo return to the home screen
press the Back symbol.
uTo access the customer menu, press it until the key symbol
appears.
uEnter the numerical code 151 to select the customer menu.
Customer menu
The following functions can be called up in the customer menu:
-Self diagnostics
The device carries out self diagnostics and checks all elec-
trical components.
-RESET
The appliance is reset to the factory settings.
-Manual defrosting
Manual defrosting is started.
-Water supply time*
This function is active for appliances with an ice cube maker.
The size of the ice cubes is determined by the water supply
time.*
uClose the door.
uContact customer service and give them the required appli-
ance information.
wThis will help us to provide you with a faster, more accurate
service.
uFollow any further instructions given by Customer Services.
