Luister of u een kiestoon hoort.
• Bel het faxnummer om te controleren of het goed werkt.
• Als u de functie Kiezen met hoorn op haak gebruikt, verhoogt u het
volume om te controleren of u een kiestoon hoort.
Hoort u een kiestoon?
Ga naar stap 5. Ga naar stap 4.
Stap 4
Controleer de telefoonaansluiting in de muur.
a Sluit de analoge telefoon rechtstreeks op de wandcontactdoos
aan.
b Luister of u een kiestoon hoort.
c Als u geen kiestoon hoort, gebruikt u een andere telefoonkabel.
d Hoort u nog steeds geen kiestoon, dan sluit u de analoge telefoon
op een andere wandcontactdoos aan.
e Als u een kiestoon hoort, sluit u de printer op die wandcontactdoos
aan.
Kunt u een fax verzenden of ontvangen?
Het probleem is
opgelost.
Ga naar stap 5.
Stap 5
Controleer of de printer is aangesloten op een analoge telefoondienst
of op de juiste digitale connector.
• Als u een Integrated Services voor Digital Network-telefoondienst
(ISDN) gebruikt, sluit u die op de analoge telefoonpoort van een
ISDN-adapter aan. Neem voor meer informatie contact op met uw
ISDN-provider.
• Als u een DSL-lijn gebruikt, sluit u een
DSL-filter
of een router aan
die analoge signalen ondersteunt. Neem voor meer informatie
contact op met uw DSL-provider.
• Als u gebruikmaakt van een private branch exchange (PBX) dient
u te controleren of u de printer op een analoge poort van de PBX
hebt aangesloten. Als er geen analoge poorten aanwezig zijn, kunt
u overwegen een analoge telefoonlijn voor de fax te installeren.
Kunt u een fax verzenden of ontvangen?
Het probleem is
opgelost.
Ga naar stap 6.
Stap 6
Ontkoppel andere apparatuur tijdelijk en schakel andere telefoon-
diensten uit.
a Ontkoppel andere apparaten (zoals antwoordapparaten,
computers, modems of telefoonlijnsplitters) tussen de printer en
de telefoonlijn.
b Schakel de wisselgesprekfunctie en voicemail uit. Neem contact
op met uw telefoonbedrijf voor meer informatie.
Kunt u een fax verzenden of ontvangen?
Het probleem is
opgelost.
Ga naar stap 7.

  • I have an MC3224 printer attached to a DELL laptop with Windows 10 installed. I'm trying to set up to scan to the computer. All I can find is that I need an IP # for the printer, which I do not have or at least cannot find. What can I do to make this thing operate ? Submitted on 25-5-2022 at 00:33

  • My MC3224 displays a paper jam fault. There is no jam, but the printer will not reset the fault. Nothing I have done helps. Is there a way to reset the fault? Submitted on 14-10-2021 at 14:15
