Veiligheidsaspecten
1.11 Omgaan met ABT- en/of Boosterapparatuur
Het type ABT of Booster is uitgerust met meerdere beveiligingen die voorkomen dat de oven doorwerkt
wanneer de deur geopend wordt.
Als u de boosterfunctie benut, doe dit dan alleen wanneer er producten in de ovenkamer staan. Bij een lege
oven kan er namelijk straling naar buiten lekken of kan de oven technisch beschadigen. Hoewel de
hoeveelheid straling ver binnen internationale veiligheidsnormen blijft, raden wij dergelijk gebruik af.
Wanneer u uw eigen schoonmaakprogramma maakt of wijzigt, maak dan geen gebruik van de
boosterfunctie.
1.12 Wat te doen bij...
1.12.1 Brand
Breng uzelf en omstanders in veiligheid. Bel de brandweer.
Indien u van mening bent zelf de brand te kunnen bestrijden, sluit de oven dan af van z’n energiebron (gas
of elektriciteit). Indien een afzuiginstallatie geinstalleerd is, schakel deze dan onmiddellijk uit.
1.12.2 Wateroverlast
Wateroverlast kan ontstaan door lekkage of overstroming. Schakel de oven uit, trek de stekker uit de
wandcontactdoos en sluit de watertoevoer. Bel de servicedienst voor advies.
1.12.3 Stroomstoring
Wanneer de stroom even uitvalt, kan de motorbeveiliging van een elektrische oven in werking treden. Dit
voorkomt beschadiging van de motor. De thermische beveiliging moet dan gereset worden (zie Onderhoud
op pagina 6). De instellingen van de oven veranderen niet door een onderbreking van de stroomtoevoer.
