COMBUSTIBLE
Le combustible prescrit est le bois, sec, d’un diamètre de 80 – 150 mm, séché depuis au moins 2 ans, contenant une humidité non
supérieure à 15-20%, ayant un pouvoir calorique de 4,7 kW/kg et une longueur des bûches de 500 mm.
Les dimensions des combustibles à utiliser se trouvent dans le paragraphe « CARACTERISTIQUES TECHNIQUES ».

Le graphique suivant indique l’interdépendance entre l’eau contenue et la puissance thermique du combustible. Le volume énergétique
utile du bois baisse de manière signicative par rapport à la quantité d’eau.
Les chaudières ne sont pas prévues pour brûleur du bois contenant moins de 12% d’eau car en dessous de cette valeur, la
gazéication devient incontrôlable

Il est déconseillé d'utiliser du bois frais car il produit beaucoup de fumée, réduit radicalement la durée de la chaudière et du conduit
de fumée, et réduit par ailleurs la puissance de la chaudière de 50%.
