DEFROST
To toast frozen bread, press the defrost button.

Place the slices of frozen bread into the toasting slots - fig. 14.

Press the Defrost key , The symbol will appear on screen - fig. 15.
Press keys + or – to select the toasting power.

Lower the control lever to start toasting. A longer toasting time than that of
positions 1 to 9 will be selected automatically to defrost your bread before
toasting.
When a toasting cycle starts, the timer also starts.

The bread and the lever will rise automatically once the toasting cycle has
finished - fig. 10.

When the toasting cycle ends, the display will revert back to the last toast
mode setting.
BAGUETTE/BAGEL
To toast a baguette or a bagel inside and heat it up outside, use the ba-
guette function.

Cut your baguette or bagel in half and place it in the toaster with the crust
facing inwards, as shown - fig. 16.

Press the baguette key baguette/bagel , the symbol will appear
on screen - fig. 17. The baguette/bagel button cannot be used at the
same time as the reheat and defrost buttons.

Press keys + or – to select the toasting power.

The crumb of the baguette or bagel will be toasted while the outside will be
heated. When a cycle starts, the timer also starts.

The bread and lever will rise automatically once the cycle has finished

Insert the accessory on top of the toaster - fig. 20.

Arrange the rolls, croissants, etc. on the accessory - fig.21.

The toaster comes with two re-heating modes:

For delicate Viennese pastry: press the button once. The sym-
bol is displayed - fig. 22.

For buns with a thicker crust: press the button twice. The sym-
bol is displayed - fig. 23.
A pre-programmed time is displayed. You do not need to select a toas-
ting level.
