PRACTICAL HINTS
I
Different types of bread can contain varying amounts of water and the
toasting and browning time can therefore vary. Here are a few general
recommendations:
I
Slightly dry bread should be toasted preferably at a lower toasting power.
I
Really fresh bread or wholemeal bread should be toasted at higher power.
For bread with an irregular surface like English muffins higher power
toasting is recommended.
I
When toasting bread containing dried fruit or scones, first remove fruit that
is likely to come free (raisins that fall away are liable to burn).
I
Reduce toasting power when toasting a single slice of bread.
I
Toasting times will adjust automatically when you toast several batches in a
row with the same setting.
I
In the baguette-bagel mode, the last setting you chose will be saved in the
memory. It will appear on the display when you push the button.
