Deel 5: Tips bij problemen
Afdrukkwaliteit
Probleem : Afdrukken zijn te vaag, tekens zijn te dun.
Oplossing : Stel de afdrukkwaliteit in op HOOG (zie paragraaf 30.4, pagina 97).
Controleer het inktpeil (zie paragraaf 18.2, pagina 56), plaats zonodig een
nieuwe inktcartridge (zie paragraaf 27.2, pagina 88).
Controleer of het juiste papier gebruikt wordt.
Stel de ‘Dry Time Delay’ in, zie paragraaf 18.3 op pagina 58; tabblad
‘Document/Quality’, punt 3.
Controleer of de inktcartridge goed geïnstalleerd is, maak deze eventueel
schoon (zie hoofdstuk 22, pagina 67).
Probleem : Afdrukken vertonen vette of vlekkerige tekst.
Oplossing : Geef de inkt de kans op te drogen voordat u iets met de afdruk doet.
Controleer papiersoort en -formaat.
Is het papier vlak, zonder kreukels?
Stel de ‘Dry Time Delay’ in, zie pararagraaf 18.3 op pagina 58; tabblad
‘Document/Quality’, punt 3.
Probleem : Letters en cijfers in de afdruk vertonen strepen.
Oplossing : Bij de melding INKT IS OP installeert u een nieuwe inktcartridge, zie
paragraaf 27.2, pagina 88.
Bij het printen van transparanten kunt u de instellingen in de printer-
software aanpassen om een beter resultaat te krijgen zie paragraaf 18.3,
pagina 58; tabblad ‘Document/Quality’.
Probleem : Tekens zijn misvormd of liggen niet op een lijn.
Oplossing : Reinig de inktcartridge, zie hoofdstuk 22, pagina 67.
Stel de alignment in, zie paragraaf 22.2, pagina 67.
Probleem : Zwarte effen vlakken op transparanten vertonen strepen.
Oplossing : Tracht de situatie te verbeteren door aanpassingen in de
printerinstellingen, zie paragraaf 18.3, pagina 58.
Probleem : Kleurenafdrukken geven niet de juiste kleuren weer.
Oplossing: De kleurencartridge is vuil of een tijdje niet gebruikt. Voer de zelftest uit
(zie paragraaf 22.1, pagina 67).
Reinig -eventueel- de cartridge (zie paragraaf 22.3, pagina 69).
In de meegeleverde handleidingen en bij de PC programma’s staat veel informatie om
deze programma’s optimaal te kunnen gebruiken en om eventuele problemen op te lossen.
Hebt u toch nog vragen over de printer-, scanner- en faxstuurprogramma’s en over
MyScan, zie dan paragraaf 24.4, pagina 83 voor het melden van een storing bij
KPN Telecom.
Voor vragen over Presto! Pagemanager kunt u zich niet tot KPN Telecom wenden maar
