De put
2. Laat de leerlingen het Rendement van het wiel/as-systeem uitrekenen van de put die ze
gebouwd hebben. Gebruik de volgende aanwijzingen:
(a) Meet de diameter(doorsnede) van wiel of as die de inspanning levert. Neem dan de helft
om de straal(radius) te berekenen. (IR=Inspannings Radius)
(b) Meet de diameter van wiel of as die niet de inspanning levert. Neem daar de helft van om de
Weerstand Radius te berekenen. (WR=Weerstand Radius)
(c) Deel de IR door de WR om het rendement uit te rekenen.
IR : WR = Rendement
In het voorbeeld van de put, waar het wiel de as draait is het
Rendement = wielradius : asradius. De berekening moet een getal
groter dan 1 opleveren omdat de eenvoudige machine het werk lichter
maakt door de kracht te vergroten.
CHECKLIST VERSLAG
Laat de leerlingen bij iedere test een verslag maken van hun bevindingen. Dit moet de volgende experimenten,
metingen en tekeningen met benoemde onderdelen bevatten:
