Blok en Takel
Voorbeeld van het gebruik van een samengestelde katrol
WERKWIJZE
Introductie
Bespreek de resultaten van de vorige les waarin de leerlingen ontdekten dat een samengesteld
katrolsysteem de inspanning verminderde om het gewicht te tillen maar dat de afstand die werd get-
rokken aan het touw, juist werd vergroot.
Laat de leerlingen foto’s zien , of vraag ze die zelf te zoeken, van kranen in bedrijf.

Doelstellingen
De leerlingen:
1. Herkennen het type katrol in een Blok en Takel systeem.
2. Laten zien hoe een vast en verplaatsbaar katrol systeem functioneren in een Blok en Takel.
3. Maken onderscheid tussen een Blok en Takel systeem en andere katrol systemen.
4. Herkennen de relatie tussen het aantal gebruikte touwen en de benodigde toegepaste
inspanningskracht om een gewicht te heffen.
Materialen
Elk groep van 2 leerlingen heeft nodig:
- 1 K’NEX Education
Hefbomen en Katrollen
set met een
bouwinstructieboekje
- Stickers of stukken
beschrijfbaar plakband
- Meetlint
- Papieren beker
- 1 of 2 stukken aluminium-
folie (Ongeveer 15x20 cm.)
- Viltstift
- Munten en ringen (ongeveer 30
muntjes)
- Werkschriften
- 200 gram of 5 Newton unster (meet-
veer) (optioneel)
N.B. Zorg ervoor dat er ruim voldoende voorraad munten of ringen beschikbaar is.
