4. Operating the hood
General notes
• When the appliance is connected to
the mains, a beep sounds, the display
shows and all keys light up for 1
second.
Then the hood switches to standby
mode.
• Each time a button is pressed,
a beep sounds as conrmation.
Adjusting the lighting
• The lighting can also be switched
on when the appliance is in standby
mode.
• Touch the key for 0.5 seconds to
switch on the light.
The key remains illuminated as long as
the lighting is on.
• To turn o the light, touch the key
again. The key illumination turns o.
Switching on and o
• To switch on the appliance, touch the
key for 0.5 seconds.
Operation starts at the last power
level used with the corresponding
display.
The key remains illuminated during
operation.
• To switch o the cooker hood, also
press the key.
The key illumination turns o and the
appliance switches to standby.
Setting the power levels
• The appliance has 9 power levels.
• To start operation, touch the
key
for 0.5 seconds.
The key illumination
lights up and operation starts at the
last power level used with the corres-
ponding display.
• To increase the power level,
touch the key.
Each time the key is touched,
the power is increased by one level
up to level .
• To reduce the power level,
touch the key.
Each time the key is touched,
the power is reduced by one level
down to level .
Notes:
• The and keys light up for
1 second aer each touch.
• If you press the key during operati-
on at the highest power level ( ),
or the key at the lowest level ( ),
the display and power level do not
change.
Automatic switch-o
• If you press and hold the and
keys during operation, the automatic
switch-o function is activated.
The display starts ashing and opera-
tion stops automatically aer a period
of 5 minutes.
