When heating liquids with microwaves,
boiling delay can occur, i.e. a liquid can
reach very high temperatures of over
100°C without boiling noticeably, but
suddenly boil over with bubbling at the
slightest touch.
To avoid the risk of scalding, prevent
boiling delay by placing a metal tea-
spoon without sharp edges, tips or
thin elements in the liquid paying close
attention to the previously mentioned
instructions.
Refrain from heating whole eggs in the
microwave as they can explode (even
after heating).
Microwave operation with an empty
cooking chamber can lead to an over-
load. Therefore, never use the micro-
wave function when there is no food in
the cooking chamber.
Magnetism hazard!
Permanent magnets are contained in
the control panel and controls. They
can interfere with electronic implants,
e.g. pacemakers or insulin pumps.
Wearers of electronic implants must
stay at least 10cm away from the con-
trol panel.
! Risk of damage
If aluminium foil is used in the cooking
chamber when operating oven func-
tions, it must not come into contact
with the door glass. This may cause
permanent discolouration of the door
glass.
Do not use silicone moulds, mats,
covers or accessories that contain
silicone.
The oven sensor may be damaged.
Do not pour water into the hot cooking
chamber.
This will cause steam to form. The
temperature change may damage the
enamel coating.
Over a longer period of time, moisture
in the cooking chamber can lead to
corrosion. Allow the appliance to dry
after use. Do not store moist food in
the closed appliance for a long period
of time.
Do not store food in the cooking cham-
ber.
After operating at high temperatures,
only allow the appliance to cool down
with the door closed. Do not clamp
anything in the appliance door. Even
if the door is only open a crack when
cooling down, the adjacent furniture or
appliance fronts may be damaged over
time. Only open the appliance door for
drying if a lot of moisture has accumu-
lated during operation.
