2. Notes before Use
2.1 General notes before use
• When unpacking the appliance, make sure that it has not been
damaged during transport.
 Warning! Risk of electric shock!
If you notice any damage to the appliance, its cable or
other components, do not operate it
to avoid dangerous electric shock or injury!
Contact customer service.
• If you have installed the appliance properly (see relevant
chapter), make sure that all packaging materials, stickers,
protective lms and transport protection materials have been
removed from the product and disposed of properly
and that remaining small parts such as assembly materials
are safely stored.
 Warning! Danger of suffocation!
Packaging materials, transport protection materials
and small parts such as assembly accessories can be
very dangerous if they are swallowed or pulled over the
head, for example!
Always keep them out of reach of children and pets.
 Warning! Fire hazard and risk of damage!
Unremoved packaging materials and transport pro-
tection materials in the cooking chamber (such as
polystyrene parts) may catch re or melt when the
appliance heats up.
Make sure that these have been completely removed
before use.
• Remove all accessories and the side racks from the cooking
chamber and clean the cooking chamber and accessories as
described in the relevant chapter.
