Das Sicherheitsventil:
Während sich der Druck im Topf aufbaut, wird das rote
Sicherheitsventil sichtbar und der Topf ist verschlossen
(niemals mit Gewalt öffnen).
Ist das Sichherheitsventil nicht sichtbar, steht der Topf nicht
mehr unter Druck. Er kann geöffnet werden.
Sollte aus irgendeinem nicht vorhersehbaren Grund das
Druckregelventil nicht ordnungsgemäß abdampfen, so öffnet
das Sicherheitsventil entsprechend den vorgeschriebenen
Werten.
Der Verschluss-Schieber:
Der Verschluss-Schieber rastet beim Schließen des
Deckels hörbar ein. Der Deckel kann erst durch Drücken
des Verschluss-Schiebers in Topfrichtung wieder entriegelt
werden.
Achtung: Topf vorher abdampfen lassen – nie mit Gewalt
öffnen!
Das Sicherheitsfenster:
Ein zusätzliches Sicherheitselement ist das im Deckel
eingearbeitete Sicherheitsfenster. Bei einem zu hohen
Druck im Inneren des Topfes drückt sich der Dichtungsring
durch dieses Fenster nach außen und der Dampf kann
entweichen.
